Saskatchewan welcomed 269 potential immigrants to register for a provincial appointment for permanent residency. The drawing was held on April 22nd. Candidates are eligible for candidacy under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program's International Skilled Worker division (SINP). The International Skilled Worker Group is split into two subcategories: Express Entry and Occupations in High Demand. A total of 130 immigration applicants were invited into the Express Entry subcategory out of all who were invited. Another 139 people were invited via the subcategory Occupations In-Demand. For both of the subcategories, candidates must have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with a score of at least 70 EOI points. 6 New PR Streams Launch this Week

This Thursday, May 6, 2021, new Permanent Residence pathways will be open for essential workers and International graduates. The new streams are open to 90,000 essential workers and international graduates, as well as an unlimited amount of French-speaking individuals. The streams will welcome applications until November 5, 2021, or until the intake quotas are met, whichever comes first. Three of the streams would be aimed at French-speaking health care professionals and other essential workers, as well as French-speaking International graduates. There is no consumption limit on these sources. The remaining three streams are accessible to everyone.
